Legal Accessibility Statement

Northport Wellness Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our Goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What We Do

  • Text and buttons have enough colour contrast to read clearly
  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link
  • Images have text descriptions, and form fields have labels
  • Animations are reduced or turned off when your device is set to reduce motion
  • We test with automated accessibility tools and by hand with a keyboard, and we don’t use accessibility overlay widgets

Known Limitations

Some content comes from other companies, such as maps or patient forms in PDF, and we can’t fully control how accessible it is. If you need a form in another format, call us and we’ll help.
